By default, YouTube has blocked the feature that allows you to download audios and videos directly to your phone but there are plenty of third party applications that you can download. They allow you to just paste the link of the desired video and directly save it to your phone.
Using your phone as a digital Scale.
You might not know about it but you can use your phone for weighing small objects like a coin or a fruit. All you have to do is download a third party application and calibrate your phone onto a smooth surface and you’re good to go. But it only works for small objects, don’t end up messing with your phone.
Split window on single Screen!
There are times when you have to text while watching a video on YouTube. That is made easy by multitasking feature in smartphones. This allows you to play with two apps at the same time on one screen. All you have to do is press the task list key, hold and drag the application you want on top and then drag another at the bottom. There you go!
The safe mode feature is pretty decent to disable third party apps and to debug your phone. All you have to do is Turn On your phone and then press power button. When the power option pops up tap and hold power off, that will prompt you whether you wanna switch to safe mode or not. Tap Okay and voila!
Use Maps Offline:
Mobile data roaming can be expensive when you need to use maps on your way. So the trick is to download offline maps and turn off mobile data, leaving the GPS turned on and it will still show you your location.
Your Smartphone is Your Credit Card!
So there is a feature called NFC (Near Field Communication) built into the phones that allows you to link your credit card with your phone and then pay your bills using your smartphone. Download Android Pay or Apple pay and the next time you’re at a store pay your bill with it. Pretty decent right?
Scanner in your Pocket!
Now using third party applications you can use your smartphones to scan the pictures and save them as documents. This allows you to save it for yourself and you can also send it over to desired recipient.
Google launched an app called Google Goggles that allow you to find the related searches without even typing. All you have to do is take a picture of any household item, food or any other desired product and search it on google and it will show you the related searches and links to online store that sell it.
Connecting two smartphones together
Now a days smartphones come with OTG(One Touch Go) feature that allows you to conncet two smartphone. All you have to it is insert a phone with USB female adapter and another phone with USB Cable. After the phones recognize the cable and the female adapter they are connected!
